Hyundai announces Santa Fe upgrade in the Middle East
February, 13th 2015
Hyundai Motor Company, the world’s fastest-growing automaker by brand, has revealed that its enhanced Santa Fe model is now available across the Middle East, with adjustments made to improve handling, responsiveness and design for the region. Maintaining the Santa Fe’s distinctive ‘Storm Edge’ styling; capturing the strong and dynamic shapes created by nature during the formation of a storm, Hyundai has paid close attention to improving overall driver experience while catering to the unique driving conditions of the Middle East.
The new upgrades improve responsiveness by adding options more commonly associated with premium models, such as ‘Flex Steer’ and the introduction of a ‘Sport Mode’ to provide a harder and more stable feeling while driving. The stability, durability and maneuverability of the car have also been improved with the introduction of stiffer suspension to combat the varying road surfaces experiences throughout the Middle East.
Additional upgrades include adjustments to the Santa Fe’s vast panoramic sunroof, where the glass and screen will shut separately, and are operational for 30-seconds after the driver has turned the ignition off. The more responsive smart power tailgate will also increase the user-friendliness of the Santa Fe, by allowing the tailgate to open automatically if the driver has full hands and is within one metre distance of the rear of the vehicle.
