Bayerische Motoren Werke : BMW Middle East sales increase by 21%

German carmaker BMW reported nine-month growth of 21% Middle East sales, after delivering 22,786 BMW and MINI cars to customers across 12 markets acorss the region
BMW "is on track for another record breaking year" breaking 1 million mark on a global scale in first six months of year with sales increase by 6.9% globally with 1,020,211 deliveries in the first half year, saidJohannes Seibert, managing director for BMW Group Middle East.
The UAE is BMW`s biggest selling market accounting for 54% of the total Gulf region sales followed by Saudi Arabia, which saw growth of 10 percent selling 3,479 vehicles over the same time period and Kuwait with 2,567 vehicles sold.
According to Seibert, "our high-levels of growth are testament to our position as the most successful premium automotive manufacturer. We are able to hold this high accolade dueto the effectiveness of our customer centric approach and ability to constantly innovate and stay ahead with the launch of exciting new cars."
BMW Group sold more than a million vehicles in the first half of 2014 and the Middle East sales in the first three quarters of this year were the highest ever recorded by the company`s history
