UK firms receive USD600mn funding for Dubai projects

The UK Export Finance is offering more than USD600mn in help for UK construction firms to receive three main infrastructure projects in Dubai, UAE. In addition, UK's exports credit agency, UKEF, will be backing UK construction firms Carillion and Kier which have won deals in the country worth hundreds of millions. Meanwhle, Kier has won deals for the building of the Dubai Arena, a 17.000-seater entertainment and sports venue. Furthermore, Carillion has received the first and second phases of the development and this new deal will see them build two new office towers
