About: We are proud to be descendants of Yörük who migrated to Anatolia from their homeland in Central Asia after Turkish sovereign Alpaslan s invasion in 1071. We are proud also for our ancestors who created the world s oldest carpet dated 5 th century B.C. which was found in the frozen tomb of a nomadic chieftan at Pazyrik in the Altai mountains, Siberia, in 1949 by Russian archaeolog Rudenko .
